I may be wrong, but this town in the coast of Northern Adriatic isn't just a tourist trap like many nearby places. Of course, if you like frying your skin under the sun in your square meter of sand there's plenty of sun and sand and slowly roasting people, but it is also a nice town to visit and to live in.
