PhotoSheep: your photos on your path ready to show!
Linking photos along a path on the map to make it visible by everybody on the web used to require detailed instructions, gadgets, etc.
Not anymore with the latest Alpidia technology, check it out without reading any manual!
When you publish paths and photos in Alpidia, they can be two separated items, or sewed together, with photos appearing at the correct location on the map.
The final result makes the user feel the path, by combining different displays (satellite, terrain, map) with the photos.
You can publish:
- ONLY PHOTOS: the uploaded photos are in "photo album" mode. They are ready to show to your friends. Select the best ones by clicking on the stars and ask your friends to do the same.
- ONLY PATH: you can draw your location or path manually via the computer mouse. Just look at the satellite images from Google (or map, or terrain), identify your locations and click on them. Add short descriptions of points of interest along the path if you want. If you are equipped with a GPS-device look at our GPSheep tool.
- PHOTOS AND PATH COMBINED: if you publish both path and photos, you can put your photos on the path to make other people see where you've taken the photos. Placing your photos is a kid's play, just click on the marker and click on the photo, easier to try it out than to explain it!
